Carob powder is produced from the fruit of the carob tree by a special roasting and milling process. Carochoc is the brand name for the specialty, food grade product.

It is free of caffeine, theobromine and gluten; it is non-allergenic. Carochoc contains vitamins A, B1, B2, calcium, magnesium and iron. It is rich in pectin and has a high fiber content with only one third the calories of chocolate. It has significant levels of polyphenol (which has high antioxidant properties). It is low in fat and high in natural sugars. The product is suitable for vegans.
